About the role
Responsibilities
- Prepare, facilitate, and lead technical training classes for LAS team members and equipment users
- Adapt training styles to meet diverse learner needs through classroom instruction, in-lab coaching, and virtual training
- Create, edit, and maintain training materials, assessments, and process documentation
- Shadow the equipment service team to maintain up-to-date knowledge of day-to-day technical expectations
- Evaluate training effectiveness and assist in retraining employees as needed
- Maintain accurate training records and documentation in compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements
- Collaborate cross-functionally with other trainers and team members to develop technical expertise and skillsets
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (mechanical, electrical, industrial), Training and Development, or a related field (or an Associate's Degree with 2 years of relevant experience)
- 2+ years of experience as a technical or corporate trainer
- 2+ years of experience servicing laboratory or medical equipment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and virtual meeting tools
- Strong understanding of instructor-led, virtual, and hands-on training modalities
- Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship
- Ability to travel up to 15% and lift up to 40 pounds
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working in a regulated environment (FDA, ISO, CAP, or CLIA)
- Knowledge of ISO 17025:2005 and 21 CFR Part 820 requirements
- Basic understanding of Lean Six Sigma problem-solving methodology
