Large-Scale Machining Technician

Responsibilities

• Operate large-scale machining equipment, including heavy-duty lathes (up to 15m), drilling and milling machines (up to 60t), and carousel lathes.
• Read and implement technical manufacturing drawings.
• Set up and operate CNC turning and milling machines.
• Perform CAM programming, including creating, reading, optimizing, and running programs.
• Measure and preset tools to ensure precision.
• Conduct quality control through precise measurement of workpieces.

Requirements

• Completed technical training (apprenticeship or equivalent).
• At least 3 years of professional experience in large-scale machining.
• Strong knowledge of CNC programming.
• Proficiency with Siemens Sinumerik control systems.
• Good command of written and spoken German.
• Availability to work in a 3-shift system.
