Large Force Test Flag Event Project Officer

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute flight test operations in support of Orange Flag test flag events at Edwards AFB
• Serve as project officer to manage large force test flag events
• Lead the execution of flight test missions and briefings
• Oversee teams of engineers and operators in control rooms or aircraft
• Adapt to evolving roles and responsibilities to meet customer requirements

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of direct hands-on experience in all phases of flight test planning and execution
• Minimum of 4 years of experience as a mission commander, test director, or air boss for large force exercises (>25 aircraft)
• Minimum of 4 years of experience as an instructor or evaluator in a tactical major weapons system or mission control room
• Proven experience with multi-domain integration and "Flag-level" mission planning processes
• Bachelor's degree in a STEM field
• Active Top Secret Clearance with SCI and SAP eligibility
• U.S. Citizenship required

Preferred Qualifications

• Test Pilot School or Weapons School graduate
• Previous experience as an aircrew member (Pilot, WSO, EWO, etc.)
