Language Arts Instructor - Elementary

Responsibilities

• Teach engaging language arts curriculum designed for advanced elementary students
• Actively involve students in small-group, student-led learning environments
• Manage classroom dynamics for up to 16 students
• Grade assignments and provide constructive feedback on tests
• Build strong relationships with students and families to support their educational journey
• Foster critical thinking and a lifelong love for learning

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree is required (Education or Humanities preferred)
• Strong content knowledge in reading, writing, and/or grammar
• Ability to commute to the Millburn/Short Hills, NJ campus for in-person instruction
• Availability for weekday evenings (starting as early as 4pm) or weekends
• Must be legally authorized to work in the US

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous classroom teaching experience at the K-12 level
