About the role

Responsibilities

  • Teach engaging language arts curriculum designed for advanced K-12 students
  • Lead small classroom settings of up to 16 students using company-created materials
  • Actively involve students in student-led learning and collaborative activities
  • Manage classroom dynamics and provide constructive feedback on tests and assignments
  • Build strong relationships with students and families to support their educational journey
  • Inspire critical thinking and a lifelong love for learning in language arts

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree (degree in education or humanities strongly preferred)
  • Strong content knowledge in reading, writing, and/or grammar
  • Availability to teach during weekday evenings (starting as early as 4pm) and/or weekends
  • Legal authorization to work in the US (sponsorship is not available)
  • Ability to commute to our Bellevue, WA campus for in-person instruction

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous classroom teaching experience at the K-12 level
  • Experience in tutoring or specialized instruction for advanced learners
