About the role
Responsibilities
- Lead engaging, small-group language arts classes for advanced students using company-created curriculum
- Actively involve students in student-led learning environments
- Manage classroom dynamics for up to 16 students
- Grade assignments and provide constructive feedback on tests
- Build strong relationships with students and families to support their educational journey
- Foster critical thinking and a lifelong love for learning
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree (required)
- Strong content knowledge in reading, writing, and/or grammar
- Experience teaching or tutoring students
- Availability for weekday evenings (starting as early as 4pm) and/or weekends
- Ability to work onsite at our Fremont, CA campus
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in education or a humanities field
