About the role
Responsibilities
- Teach engaging language arts curriculum designed for advanced K-12 students
- Lead small classes (up to 16 students) using student-led learning methodologies
- Manage classroom dynamics and foster a collaborative environment
- Grade assignments and provide constructive feedback on tests
- Build positive relationships with students and their families
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree (degree in Education or Humanities strongly preferred)
- Strong content knowledge in reading, writing, and/or grammar
- Previous experience teaching or tutoring students
- Availability to work weekday evenings (starting as early as 4pm) and/or weekends
- Ability to commute to our Johns Creek, GA campus for in-person instruction
Preferred Qualifications
- K-12 classroom teaching experience
