About the role

Responsibilities

  • Teach engaging language arts curriculum designed for advanced K-12 students
  • Lead small classes (up to 16 students) using student-led learning methodologies
  • Manage classroom dynamics and foster a collaborative environment
  • Grade assignments and provide constructive feedback on tests
  • Build positive relationships with students and their families

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree (degree in Education or Humanities strongly preferred)
  • Strong content knowledge in reading, writing, and/or grammar
  • Previous experience teaching or tutoring students
  • Availability to work weekday evenings (starting as early as 4pm) and/or weekends
  • Ability to commute to our Johns Creek, GA campus for in-person instruction

Preferred Qualifications

  • K-12 classroom teaching experience
