Language Arts Instructor

Responsibilities

• Teach engaging language arts curriculum designed for advanced K-12 students
• Lead small, student-led classes of up to 16 students to encourage critical thinking
• Manage classroom dynamics and provide constructive feedback on student work and tests
• Build meaningful relationships with students and their families
• Foster a love for learning and deep engagement with reading, writing, and grammar

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree is required
• Strong content knowledge in reading, writing, and/or grammar
• Experience teaching or tutoring students
• Availability to work weekday evenings (starting as early as 4pm) and/or weekends
• Ability to commute to our Sugar Land, TX campus

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in education or a humanities field
• Previous classroom teaching experience at the K-12 level
