Language Arts Instructor

Responsibilities

• Teach engaging language arts curriculum using company-created materials designed for advanced K-12 students
• Facilitate student-led learning by actively involving students in each class
• Manage classroom dynamics for groups of up to 16 students
• Grade assignments and provide constructive feedback on tests
• Build meaningful relationships with students and families to support their educational journey
• Encourage critical thinking and a lifelong love for learning

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree (degree in education or a humanities field is strongly preferred)
• Strong content knowledge in reading, writing, and/or grammar
• Experience teaching or tutoring students
• Availability to teach during weekday evenings (starting as early as 4:00 PM) and/or on weekends
• Ability to commit to a minimum of 3 hours per week for each assigned class

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous classroom teaching experience at the K-12 level
