Landscape Manager

Responsibilities

• Manage horticultural, softscape, forestry, planting, and landscape establishment activities across the project
• Provide technical oversight on plant selection, soil preparation, irrigation, fertilization, and plant health
• Review planting plans, landscape specifications, method statements, and contractor technical documentation
• Monitor site works to ensure all horticultural activities align with approved designs and project requirements
• Inspect nursery stock and plant materials to confirm quality and compliance before installation
• Support tree management activities including protection, relocation, and long-term maintenance planning
• Coordinate with contractors, consultants, and client representatives to resolve technical issues
• Prepare technical reports, progress updates, and site observations for senior leadership

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Horticulture, Forestry, Agriculture, Arboriculture, Landscape Architecture, or Environmental Science
• Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in horticulture, forestry, or landscape establishment
• Strong technical knowledge of plant health, soil science, irrigation, and pest control
• Experience managing horticultural or forestry works on large-scale public realm or urban development projects
• Ability to review technical landscape drawings, specifications, and material submittals

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in the GCC or Middle East region
• Knowledge of arid climate planting and sustainable horticultural practices
• Experience with tree surveys, relocation, and forestry management
• Professional certification in horticulture, forestry, or a related discipline
• Previous experience in a PMC, supervision consultant, or contractor environment
