Landscape Inspector

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular site inspections to verify that landscape construction aligns with approved plans and specifications
• Monitor the quality of materials and workmanship throughout the landscaping process
• Identify and report any deviations or defects, recommending appropriate corrective measures
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards on-site
• Maintain accurate records of inspections, reports, and site observations
• Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and design teams to resolve issues
• Assist in the preparation of progress reports and documentation for management and clients

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Landscape Architecture, Horticulture, or a related field
• At least 3 years of experience in landscape inspection
• Strong knowledge of landscape design principles, plants, and construction techniques
• Attention to detail and excellent observation skills
• Effective communication and report writing abilities
• Ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams
• Familiarity with local regulations and standards is a plus
