Landing Gear Technician - Polisher

Responsibilities

• Disassemble, clean, and inspect landing gear components for wear, corrosion, or damage
• Perform polishing of various landing gear parts, including cylinders and pistons, using specialized tools and equipment
• Follow strict tolerances and OEM repair manuals to ensure parts are restored to airworthiness standards
• Operate machinery such as lathes, hones, grinders, and plating tanks safely and efficiently
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, technical orders, process specifications, and retrofit requirements
• Ensure compliance with FAA regulations, company policies, and safety procedures
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment

Requirements

• High school education or equivalent
• 1-3 years of related experience
• 1+ years of experience removing and restoring aircraft assemblies
• Experience assembling aerospace parts using drawings, specifications, and manufacturing plans
• Ability to construct, install, dismantle, relocate, modify, and/or repair OEM equipment
• Must be a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident
