Landing Gear Technician - Plater

Responsibilities

• Perform polishing, honing, and plating of various landing gear parts, including cylinders, pistons, and bushings, using specialized tools and equipment
• Follow strict tolerances and OEM repair manuals to ensure parts are restored to airworthiness standards
• Manage plating tanks safely and efficiently
• Ensure compliance with FAA regulations, company policies, and safety procedures
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, technical orders, process specifications, and retrofit requirements to perform structural modification and repair
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment

Requirements

• High school education or equivalent
• 1 to 3 years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• 1+ years of experience removing and restoring aircraft assemblies
• Experience assembling aircraft/aerospace parts, components, and/or assemblies using applicable drawings, specifications, and quality standards
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and technical orders
• Ability to construct, install, dismantle, relocate, modify, and/or repair OEM equipment of all types
• Must be a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident
