Landing Gear System Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design, specify, qualify, and certify fluid, hydromechanic, and thermal sub-systems and components
• Support the development and modification of Landing Gear systems and sub-systems
• Perform requirement analysis and manage design modifications (major and minor)
• Investigate technical issues, respond to queries, and provide source data for technical documentation
• Analyze test data and act as the design office focal point for suppliers
• Coordinate the verification and validation of system requirements in collaboration with the design office and suppliers

Requirements

• B.Tech, B.E., M.Tech, or M.E. in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering
• 3 to 7 years of professional experience
• Strong understanding of Landing Gear systems, including wheels and brakes
• General knowledge of hydromechanics, avionics, and electrical systems
• Proven experience in Systems Engineering, preferably within the aerospace domain
• Proficiency in using DOORS for requirement management
• Strong problem-solving, documentation, and interpersonal communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of DO160 standards
• Experience in supplier interaction and coordination
• Previous experience working within the aerospace industry
