Land Surveyor Specialist

Responsibilities

• Perform land surveys using various surveying instruments and technologies, including GPS and total stations
• Collect, analyze, and interpret field data to produce detailed survey maps and reports
• Demarcate property boundaries and stake out construction layouts according to project specifications
• Coordinate with engineers, architects, and contractors to provide accurate site information
• Ensure compliance with local surveying standards, regulations, and safety procedures
• Maintain and calibrate surveying equipment for optimal performance
• Prepare documentation, including legal descriptions and survey certificates

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Surveying, Geomatics, Civil Engineering, or a related field
• Proven experience as a Land Surveyor in the construction industry
• Proficiency in using surveying instruments and software such as AutoCAD, GIS, and GPS technology
• Strong understanding of local land surveying laws and regulations
• Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical skills
• Ability to work on-site under various environmental conditions
