Land Surveyor

Responsibilities

• Perform land/field surveys and geodetic calculations.
• Interface with clients and contractors to determine and verify project survey requirements.
• Complete surveying requirements on schedule and within man-hour and cost budgets.
• Check setting-out, levels, and service locations to ensure protection.
• Prepare sketches to support field work and maintain all survey information, including field books and calculations.
• Assist in the preparation of ‘as-built’ drawings.
• Observe site safety procedures and participate in all health and safety issues at the site.

Requirements

• Bachelor or Diploma in Civil Engineering.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in land surveying and setting-out for roads, infrastructure, and bridges projects.
• Proficiency in using CAD software and survey software.
• Hands-on experience with total station, data collectors, and GPS equipment.
• Good oral and written communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Working knowledge of construction sequences and standard industry work procedures.
• Previous experience with Abu Dhabi Authority approvals.
• Strong commitment to safe work practices.
