Land Surveyor

Responsibilities

• Perform land/field surveys and geodetic calculations for major infrastructure and stormwater projects.
• Interface with clients and contractors to determine and verify project survey requirements.
• Complete surveying requirements on schedule and within man-hour and cost budgets.
• Check setting-out, levels, and service locations to ensure protection and compliance.
• Prepare sketches to support field work and maintain all survey information, including field books and calculations.
• Conduct verification and routine checks of control points and benchmarks.
• Record initial and final levels of works and assist in the preparation and review of as-built drawings.
• Participate in all health and safety protocols at the site as required.

Requirements

• Diploma or Associate degree in Land Surveying or an equivalent qualification.
• Minimum of 8+ years of experience in infrastructure, roads, and utilities projects.
• Proficiency in using CAD software and specialized survey software.
• Hands-on experience with total stations, data collectors, and GPS equipment.
• Strong oral and written communication skills in English.
• Must be currently available in the UAE with recent Abu Dhabi work experience.

Preferred Qualifications

• Working knowledge of construction sequences and standard industry work procedures.
• Previous experience with ADM/DMT projects and relevant approvals or licenses.
• Proven ability to communicate clearly with site teams and management.
