Land Surveyor Assistant

Responsibilities

• Assist land surveyors with measurement and data collection on construction sites
• Operate and maintain surveying instruments and equipment
• Record and prepare survey data, sketches, and reports
• Ensure all survey measurements comply with project specifications and regulatory standards
• Support in the preparation of topographic maps and construction layout plans
• Collaborate with engineers and project teams to provide accurate survey information
• Maintain equipment inventory and report any malfunctions or required repairs

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; diploma in surveying or related field is a plus
• Basic knowledge of surveying principles and equipment
• Familiarity with survey software and tools such as AutoCAD and GPS devices
• Good attention to detail and strong organizational skills
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
• Effective communication and teamwork abilities
