Land Surveyor

Responsibilities

• Perform professional land surveying work under the direction of the Resident Engineer.
• Develop new data from photogrammetric records and establish primary horizontal and vertical control points.
• Record all measurements, rod readings, and calculations accurately in field books.
• Verify the accuracy of survey data, including measurements and calculations conducted at survey sites.
• Coordinate with Contractor surveyors on work priorities, schedules, and setting out.
• Check completed work for conformance to line and grade required by project plans.
• Prepare and maintain sketches, maps, reports, and legal descriptions of surveys.
• Plan and conduct ground surveys to establish baselines, elevations, and geodetic measurements.
• Maintain equipment in proper condition and perform frequent calibration checks.
• Implement all site safety, quality controls, and quality procedures.

Requirements

• 10 years of experience in Land surveying.
• Diploma or bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
