Land Survey Manager

Responsibilities

• Sign and seal survey documents as a registered professional land surveyor
• Plan, schedule, and coordinate the technical aspects of survey projects
• Lead and coordinate field crew activities, including providing assignments and daily work product checks
• Engage with clients to discuss project status, evaluate performance, and identify new business opportunities
• Assist with business development, proposal preparation, and QA/QC final reviews for all surveys

Requirements

• Licensed in Land Surveying in Virginia (VA) or Maryland (MD)
• 6+ years of professional Land Survey experience
• Advanced knowledge of local survey laws, principles, and techniques
• Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and survey processing software
• Working knowledge of field instrumentation, including GPS/GNSS and robotic total stations
• Strong mathematical skills, specifically in algebra and trigonometry
