Land Representative

Responsibilities

• Serve as the land subject matter expert on cross-functional teams
• Act as lead negotiator for leasing projects associated with business plans
• Negotiate and draft various oil and gas agreements, including leases, pooling agreements, and JOAs
• Perform title curative work and issue title clearances for rig lines
• Provide work direction to field land brokers and outside legal counsel
• Compile, analyze, and communicate land data and concepts to stakeholders
• Make risk-based business recommendations and articulate value tradeoffs

Requirements

• At least 3 years of related industry experience
• Bachelor's degree
• Strong negotiation and drafting skills with experience resolving difficult situations
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and project management skills
• Outstanding interpersonal skills and the ability to build internal and external relationships
• Strong verbal and written communication, organization, and time management skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Quorum Land Systems (QLS)
• Degree in Petroleum Land Management, Energy Management, Energy Commerce, or Business
• Advanced degree in Law (J.D.) or an MBA
