About the role
Responsibilities
- Conduct preliminary entitlement and zoning research to ensure project compliance
- Prepare project impact fee and other project-related fee summaries
- Identify potential project obstacles such as moratoriums and utility capacity issues
- Administer the Pre-Development team’s project checklist and review title exceptions
- Coordinate with Construction and Legal departments to manage Notice of Commencements
- Consult with the Land Acquisition team during PSA negotiations
- Manage calendars and project schedules for the Pre-Development team
- Create entitlement and permitting schedules based on municipal coordination
- Attend municipal meetings and hearings to support entitlement and zoning applications
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- 2-5 years of experience in land planning
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Ability to work effectively within a team environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Degree in Planning, Engineering, or a related field
