About the role

Responsibilities

  • Conduct preliminary entitlement and zoning research to ensure project compliance
  • Prepare project impact fee and other project-related fee summaries
  • Identify potential project obstacles such as moratoriums and utility capacity issues
  • Administer the Pre-Development team’s project checklist and review title exceptions
  • Coordinate with Construction and Legal departments to manage Notice of Commencements
  • Consult with the Land Acquisition team during PSA negotiations
  • Manage calendars and project schedules for the Pre-Development team
  • Create entitlement and permitting schedules based on municipal coordination
  • Attend municipal meetings and hearings to support entitlement and zoning applications

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 2-5 years of experience in land planning
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Ability to work effectively within a team environment

Preferred Qualifications

  • Degree in Planning, Engineering, or a related field
