Land Agent

Responsibilities

• Conduct complex negotiations with landowners regarding land acquisition and rights
• Manage the settlement of damage claims related to construction activities
• Search courthouse and public records to determine property ownership and interests
• Assist in establishing fair market values for land and land rights acquisition
• Draft and supervise documents including easements, licenses, leases, and permits
• Ensure compliance with all corporate health and safety policies

Requirements

• High school diploma
• 3 to 5 years of Right of Way (ROW) experience
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Google Earth, and ArcGIS
• Knowledge of real estate appraisal practices and property values
• Ability to work in remote locations and navigate uneven or steep terrain
• Strong interpersonal and professional communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in the Oil & Gas or diversified energy sectors
