Lakebase Sales Specialist

Responsibilities

• Drive new Lakebase revenue through territory activation and consumption growth
• Partner with regional Account Executives and account teams on strategic opportunities
• Sell Lakebase to platform, application, data, and IT stakeholders
• Run discovery, value hypothesis, negotiation, and close across complex sales cycles
• Orchestrate proof-of-value and POCs for operational and AI-driven workloads
• Build territory plans, launch plays, and co-selling motions with partners
• Share best practices and enable broader sales teams on Lakebase motions

Requirements

• Proven enterprise SaaS sales experience
• Success selling data platforms or operational databases
• Understanding of modern data and application architectures
• Ability to sell to technical and business stakeholders
• Experience in specialist or overlay sales motions
• Executive presence and strong presentation skills
• Value selling, negotiation, and storytelling skills
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience selling Postgres or transactional cloud database services
• Familiarity with lakehouse architectures and cloud ecosystems
• Understanding of reverse ETL and operational analytics use cases
• Exposure to AI-native or agent-driven applications
• Experience in high-growth, category-creating environments
• Partner and ISV co-sell experience
