About the role
Responsibilities
- Drive new Lakebase revenue within a defined territory
- Partner with regional account executives on strategic opportunities
- Run complex sales cycles from discovery to close
- Orchestrate proof-of-value and POCs with solution teams
- Position Lakebase for operational workloads and AI applications
- Compete against legacy and cloud-native databases
- Align solutions to business outcomes like performance and cost reduction
- Support field enablement and cross-functional go-to-market motions
Requirements
- Extensive enterprise SaaS sales experience
- Proven success in data platform or database sales
- Ability to sell to technical and business stakeholders
- Experience with specialist or overlay motions
- Executive presence and strong communication skills
- Value selling, negotiation, and business case building
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience
