About the role
Responsibilities
- Provide support to production teams to help achieve production goals
- Implement containment actions to address design or quality deviations
- Collaborate with body production and maintenance teams
- Address equipment and communication issues to minimize delays
- Facilitate regular meetings to discuss challenges and improvements
- Conduct cross-departmental analysis of product launches
- Recognize and rectify bottleneck situations to optimize production flow
- Track and coordinate special build events within the Pilot Hall body Team
- Train team members on required techniques and regulations
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional experience in car production
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical or electrical engineering (or equivalent experience)
- Experience in Automotive engineering
- Proficiency with DFEMA, PFEMA, and control plans
- Knowledge of metrology equipment and measurement reports
- Experience with 8D or similar problem-solving methods
- Familiarity with statistical process control and control charts
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree in a relevant engineering field
