About the role
Responsibilities
- Prepare surfaces through degreasing, sanding, masking, and priming
- Apply primer, topcoat, and clear coat using correct techniques and equipment
- Mix paint following color codes and using mixing systems
- Perform polishing and post-processing to achieve correct finish
- Collaborate with panel beaters and damage inspectors to plan work orders
- Conduct quality control and document work in the workshop system
- Follow safety routines and handle materials in an environmentally correct manner
Requirements
- Education or solid experience as a painter within the automotive industry
- Knowledge of modern painting methods, color systems, and environmental requirements
- Experience in paint mixing and spray gun usage
- Precise, quality-conscious, and solution-oriented
- Ability to work both in a team and independently
- Swedish language proficiency in speech and writing
- Driver's license (B) is a merit
