Labourer

Responsibilities

• Keep worksites clean and organized by removing fallen tree debris, branches, leaves, and trunks
• Load and unload trucks with logs, stumps, and brush, or feed debris into a woodchipper
• Set up tools, equipment, and safety barriers or signs for the crew and the public
• Assist arborists with tree health assessments, measurements, and data gathering
• Perform physically demanding manual labor in various weather conditions
• Support a positive team environment and adhere to all safety protocols

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Valid Class 5 driver’s license with a Driver’s Abstract showing fewer than 6 demerits
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol screening
• Valid First Aid with CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
• Physical stamina and the ability to work in physically demanding environments
• Proficiency in operating and maintaining tools and equipment
• Willingness to work long hours, overtime, and participate in on-call rotations
