Labourer

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean and safe working area on site
• Load, unload, move and organise materials, tools and equipment
• Follow instructions from supervisors and qualified engineers
• Assist with the installation of switchgear
• Use basic hand tools and equipment safely
• Report hazards, defects, incidents or near misses promptly
• Support general housekeeping and waste disposal on site
• Carry out other reasonable tasks as requested by Site Supervisor or Engineering Manager
• Ensure quality standards are met and comply with all site rules, PPE requirements and H&S regulations

Requirements

• CCNSG certification
• Awareness of H&S regulations on site
• Ability to travel at short notice, including long distances
• Willingness to work overtime and away from home Monday - Friday

Preferred Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to communicate with clients at all levels
• Team player
