About the role
Responsibilities
- Greet customers and apply established procedures
- Unload, handle, and sort materials
- Identify, classify, and inspect non-ferrous metals
- Weigh, organize, and prepare materials for shipping or receiving
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the site
- Work safely in compliance with HSE standards
- Perform any other related tasks associated with operations
Requirements
- Valid Class 5 driver’s licence
- Good physical condition for repetitive tasks
- Responsible, punctual, and safety-conscious
- Experience in industrial environment or recycling (asset)
- Forklift operation experience (asset)
- Knowledge of different types of metals (asset)
