About the role
Responsibilities
- Greet customers and apply current procedures
- Unload, sort, and inspect metals
- Identify metal types and verify their quality
- Operate industrial machinery and tools including loaders, forklifts, and torches
- Work outdoors in an industrial environment
- Ensure the site is orderly and clean
Requirements
- Physically fit and comfortable with repetitive tasks
- Ability to work in noisy, dusty, and varying temperature environments
- Strong commitment to health and safety guidelines
- Good priority management and teamwork skills
- Knowledge of metals or experience with a forklift or loader is an asset
