About the role
Responsibilities
- Sorting and inspecting metals based on their characteristics
- Identifying different types of metals and assessing their quality
- Weighing materials and preparing receiving and shipping tickets
- Loading, moving, and organizing materials
- Using various tools and equipment
- Maintaining a clean, safe, and compliant work environment in accordance with health and safety standards
- Performing any other related tasks to support daily operations
Requirements
- Comfortable working on your feet in an industrial environment
- Ability to work safely and demonstrate professionalism
- Responsible, punctual, and resourceful
- Ability to work in a team and adapt to changing priorities
- Knowledge of metals (strong asset)
- Forklift operation experience (strong asset)
