Laborer

Responsibilities

• Assist construction crews by organizing materials and maintaining a clean, safe job site
• Maintain interior and exterior job site conditions throughout all phases of construction and renovation
• Perform site cleanup duties including piling lumber, sorting materials, loading/unloading deliveries, sweeping, and vacuuming
• Receive deliveries, verify quantities, and inventory job site materials
• Manage waste containers and ensure debris is disposed of in designated construction waste bins
• Support site safety by identifying and reporting potential hazards to the Project Manager and Superintendent
• Perform light carpentry and assist with field installation work as needed

Requirements

• Proven experience as a construction laborer or in a similar role
• Working knowledge of construction methods, materials, and tools
• Ability to safely lift and carry up to 50 lbs regularly
• Capable of performing physically demanding tasks including standing, bending, and working in varying weather conditions
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Ability to work at heights or in confined spaces when required
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to job site safety

Preferred Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
