Laborer Aggregates

Responsibilities

• Shovel muck, stone, gravel, and sand around conveyors and onto conveyors
• Perform general housekeeping in the pit, plant, office, and quarry facilities
• Clean working areas using high-pressure water hoses
• Dig and maintain drainage ditches
• Assist mechanics and skilled personnel with procuring and moving parts, material, and equipment
• Assist with scheduled maintenance, major repairs, and cleaning of equipment
• Adhere to all CEMEX and OSHA rules and regulations, including wearing proper safety equipment
• Perform job functions during mandatory overtime periods as assigned

Requirements

• 30+ days of equivalent training or experience
• Ability to lift up to 100 lbs occasionally
• Ability to perform emergency rescue
• Basic mathematical skills (addition, subtraction, and basic units of measurement)
• English proficiency (reading, writing, and speaking)
• Ability to work rotating shifts, including weekends and overtime
• Ability to work in extreme weather conditions (heat/cold) and loud environments
