Laborer Admixtures

Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts to load and unload chemical totes and flatbed trucks
• Assist in batch making, quality checking, and the manual addition of dry ingredients
• Operate tote fill stations and stage empty totes for future use
• Interact with drivers regarding raw material deliveries and collect bills of lading
• Perform basic maintenance and troubleshooting on valves, pumps, motors, and processing equipment
• Conduct daily plant housekeeping, including sweeping, mopping, and trash disposal
• Collect raw material and finished product samples to assist production and quality managers
• Adhere to all company safety standards, regulations, and 5S practices

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 1 year of production experience
• Basic math, reading, and writing skills
• Effective communication skills
• Ability to perform heavy physical work, including lifting up to 100 pounds occasionally
• Ability to work in various weather conditions (hot/cold) and around dusty or hazardous materials
• Must be able to pass a DOT physical, including a back x-ray, hearing test, and drug/alcohol screen

Preferred Qualifications

• 1 year of forklift experience
