Laboratory Test Engineer

Responsibilities

• Execute complex test plans and datasheets to evaluate sample performance and operation
• Record, explain, and complete detailed test reports
• Serve as Project Lead for complex test programs, managing deadlines and project activities
• Communicate project status and technical results to customers and management
• Direct, build, or adapt test setups and equipment based on engineering instructions
• Operate and maintain complex laboratory equipment and perform necessary calibrations
• Train and mentor junior laboratory staff on test procedures and equipment
• Integrate continuous improvement concepts and automation into day-to-day testing processes

Requirements

• University Degree in Engineering (or a related field)
• 4 years of relevant work experience
• Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite
• Ability to incorporate automation into testing workflows
• Strong project management skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for customer interaction
