Laboratory Technician

Responsibilities

• Set up and perform equipment and test setups for clients
• Build and adapt test equipment based on engineering instructions
• Examine test samples and interpret blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams
• Follow defined test plans and datasheets to evaluate results
• Record, explain, and report test results via completed reports
• Perform routine maintenance and basic calibration of laboratory equipment
• Communicate with customers regarding test methods and results
• Suggest improvements for equipment, processes, and accuracy

Requirements

• Higher Secondary Education
• More than one year of related experience preferred
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
• Ability to incorporate automation into testing processes
• Strong communication and customer interaction skills
• Background in electronic technology or electronic information preferred
