About the role

Responsibilities

  • Collect laboratory specimens and package samples for courier pickup
  • Perform blood draws, urine dipsticks, and drug testing (DOT & Non-DOT)
  • Prepare FIT tests and Pap smears for collection
  • Conduct vision, hearing, and spirometry testing
  • Coordinate external referrals and communicate with physician offices
  • Maintain tidy and fully stocked examination and change rooms
  • Manage client files, check-in/out processes, and payment collection
  • Provide administrative support and front desk coverage as needed

Requirements

  • Post-secondary diploma in medical lab technologies
  • Certified in vaccine handling and administration per Ontario Health guidelines
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Ability to work independently and deliver high-quality patient care
  • Strong attention to detail, accountability, and organizational skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment under pressure

Preferred Qualifications

  • Minimum of one year of relevant clinical or laboratory experience
