About the role

Responsibilities

  • Perform diagnostic examinations including phlebotomy, resting ECGs, tonometry, audiograms, visual acuity, and spirometry
  • Facilitate Holter Monitoring and 24hr Ambulatory Blood Pressure Monitoring
  • Manage laboratory sample processing, accessioning, shipping, and analysis
  • Maintain diagnostic equipment and coordinate with medical equipment suppliers for servicing
  • Document diagnostic results accurately in patient charts and enter data manually as required
  • Maintain sterile instrument supplies through cleaning, packing, and autoclaving
  • Manage clinic supplies, including ordering medical supplies and vaccines
  • Collaborate with clinicians and administrative staff to ensure efficient patient flow and appointment booking

Requirements

  • Medical Laboratory Assistant Certification
  • Minimum 2 years of practical work experience in phlebotomy
  • Minimum 2 years of practical work experience performing ECGs
  • CPR Certification
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and basic desktop computer systems
  • Exceptional organizational and customer service skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Transportation of Dangerous Goods (TDG) Certificate
