About the role

Responsibilities

  • Manage the daily operation and maintenance of the Maker Space and Operational Excellence laboratories.
  • Provide technical instruction and administration for practical prototyping workshops.
  • Assist students and professors with equipment, materials, and tool requirements for laboratory practices and projects.
  • Ensure laboratory safety, cleanliness, and order, following all established safety regulations.
  • Maintain and update inventories of equipment, materials, and consumables.
  • Support the implementation of 5S strategies and continuous improvement processes within the department.
  • Contribute to the design and operation of the "Makers Army" collaboration network.

Requirements

  • Degree in Mechatronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field focused on design and manufacturing.
  • Proven experience in laboratory or workshop operations.
  • Proficiency in SolidWorks and advanced manufacturing software.
  • Hands-on experience with CNC machines, lathes, milling machines, and welding.
  • Knowledge of 3D printing technologies.
  • Experience with VR stations and programming automated manufacturing lines (cobots, AMRs).
  • English proficiency at a B2 level or higher.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and service-oriented skills.
