About the role

Responsibilities

  • Perform an extensive variety of laboratory procedures utilizing physical, wet-chemical, and instrumental techniques
  • Analyze routine and non-routine samples using approved methods under minimal supervision
  • Record raw data and final results into logbooks or computer systems and provide accurate data to submitters within acceptable time frames
  • Maintain laboratory and associated equipment in a safe and clean condition
  • Troubleshoot malfunctioning equipment and perform simple maintenance
  • Ensure the reliability of test results through the analysis of Standards and Statistical Process Control

Requirements

  • 2+ years of QC lab experience
  • Associates degree in Chemistry preferred
  • Knowledge of modern lab instrumentation and Statistical Process Control
  • Proficiency in MS Word and Excel
  • Ability to work a rotating day/night 12-hour shift schedule
  • High level of mechanical aptitude
  • Demonstrated commitment to safety and ability to work in a team environment
  • Willingness to work overtime and remain flexible to changing work priorities
