About the role
Responsibilities
- Perform laboratory testing following Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
- Weigh, digest, and test samples using relevant equipment
- Maintain accurate laboratory reports and databases
- Receive, sort, log, and label client samples
- Perform daily, weekly, and monthly QA/QC checks on equipment
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment and adhere to PPE requirements
- Assist with general laboratory upkeep and housekeeping
- Support junior technicians and perform field responsibilities as needed
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent
- 3+ years of experience in an industrial laboratory or field services setting
- For water laboratory roles: Associate or Bachelor's degree in science or 1 year of supervised water testing experience
- Ability to follow strict safety standards
Preferred Qualifications
- Associate degree in a science-related field
- 5+ years of experience in industrial, lab, or field settings
