Laboratory Technician

Responsibilities

• Perform operational activities for assigned laboratory tests
• Correct chemical, mechanical, and metallographic test reports with critical analysis of results
• Verify laboratory capacity and analyze testing standards to validate execution processes
• Conduct material analysis with client supervision (witness testing)
• Prepare samples and perform various tests including chemical, mechanical, dimensional, and metallographic analyses
• Organize the workplace and archive samples after testing
• Perform statistical process controls (CEP) and maintain quality management system records

Requirements

• Technical degree in Metallurgy, Materials, Chemistry, or Mechanics
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in the field
• Experience with mechanical testing, destructive testing, NDT, chemical analysis, metallographic and microstructural analysis, physical and characterization testing, and corrosion testing
• Ability to reside in São Paulo or Greater ABC region
