About the role
Responsibilities
- Prepare samples for analysis according to SGS’ analytical SOPs using basic instrumentation
- Perform routine operation, maintenance, and calibration of preparation instruments and equipment
- Assist with validation and MDL studies
- Input and maintain technical information to support laboratory operations
- Maintain Laboratory Notebook where applicable
- Adhere to internal standards, policies, and procedures
Requirements
- High school diploma
- 0-2 years of experience in Analytical Chemistry Laboratories or prior manual labor experience
- Advanced English language skills
- Strong mathematical and reasoning skills
- Basic computer skills
- Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull upwards of 25 lbs frequently
Preferred Qualifications
- Associates Degree in Chemistry or a similar scientific discipline
- 1-2 years of relevant experience in Analytical Chemistry Laboratories
