About the role

Responsibilities

  • Perform routine laboratory testing following Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and methods
  • Conduct chemical and physical testing on laundry, dish detergents, and household cleaning products
  • Test cosmetics, hygiene, and personal care products as required
  • Validate performance on methods and test to applicable standards such as ASTM, CSPA, ISO, and SSC
  • Develop, write, review, and validate test methods and laboratory SOPs
  • Ensure compliance with local and federal safety processes and procedures
  • Maintain accurate laboratory reports and perform equipment QA/QC checks
  • Assist in laboratory inventory management and ISO 17025 related activities
  • Receive, sort, log, and prepare client samples

Requirements

  • Associate degree or higher in a relevant science field or equivalent experience
  • 1-3 years of experience in an industrial, laboratory, or field setting
  • Experience following strict safety standards
