About the role
Responsibilities
- Perform routine laboratory testing following Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and methods
- Conduct chemical and physical testing on laundry, dish detergents, and household cleaning products
- Test cosmetics, hygiene, and personal care products as required
- Validate performance on methods and test to applicable standards such as ASTM, CSPA, ISO, and SSC
- Develop, write, review, and validate test methods and laboratory SOPs
- Ensure compliance with local and federal safety processes and procedures
- Maintain accurate laboratory reports and perform equipment QA/QC checks
- Assist in laboratory inventory management and ISO 17025 related activities
- Receive, sort, log, and prepare client samples
Requirements
- Associate degree or higher in a relevant science field or equivalent experience
- 1-3 years of experience in an industrial, laboratory, or field setting
- Experience following strict safety standards
