About the role

Responsibilities

  • Perform routine tests on samples and quality control samples according to standard methods
  • Operate laboratory instruments and equipment following specified procedures
  • Maintain accurate logbooks, worksheets, and QC charts
  • Plan testing activities based on sample volume and quantities received
  • Monitor and control stock levels of chemicals and consumables
  • Evaluate results against quality control norms and report deviations
  • Assist in method modification, development, and validation
  • Perform Health and Safety inspections and adhere to all safety protocols
  • Calculate and record analytical results for distribution

Requirements

  • Grade 12 education
  • Minimum of 3 years relevant laboratory experience
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Systematic and thorough approach to work
  • Ability to work effectively in a team
