Laboratory Technician

Responsibilities

• Prepare and process soil and water samples for testing
• Carry out sample preparation tasks including drying, crushing, and grinding
• Operate laboratory equipment safely following established procedures
• Maintain a clean and organised work area
• Follow all SGS health, safety, and quality requirements
• Assist the laboratory team with general duties as required

Requirements

• Enjoyment of practical, hands-on work
• Strong attention to detail
• Reliability and motivation
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Ability to follow instructions and work safely in a laboratory environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous laboratory experience is an advantage but not essential
