About the role
Responsibilities
- Prepare and process soil and water samples for testing
- Carry out sample preparation tasks including drying, crushing, and grinding
- Operate laboratory equipment safely following established procedures
- Maintain a clean and organised work area
- Follow all SGS health, safety, and quality requirements
- Assist the laboratory team with general duties as required
Requirements
- Enjoyment of practical, hands-on work
- Strong attention to detail
- Reliability and motivation
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to follow instructions and work safely in a laboratory environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous laboratory experience is an advantage but not essential
