About the role
Responsibilities
- Examination of food and feed for Salmonella spp. and Listeria monocytogenes using Real-Time PCR including cultural confirmation methods
- Microbiological examination of water samples
- Implementation of quality assurance measures, particularly environmental monitoring and equipment checks
- Participation in proficiency tests and conducting verifications according to customer requirements and accreditation specifications
Requirements
- Completed training as a Biological-Technical Assistant (BTA), Biology Laboratory Technician, or Medical Technical Assistant (MTA)
- Ideally initial practical experience in microbiological and/or molecular biological examination of food and feed
- Willingness to work regular weekends and holidays (up to two weekends per month)
