Laboratory Technician

About the Company

Nanopath is developing a first-in-class in vitro diagnostics platform to transform how diseases are diagnosed. The company is headquartered at The Engine in the Kendall Square ecosystem, with a mission to improve patient outcomes through rapid, high-quality diagnostics.

Responsibilities

• Execute established SOPs in support of the R&D team
• Prepare key components, buffers, and other materials for high-throughput experimentation
• Perform quality inspections on incoming materials through documentation review and initial testing
• Independently conduct stability studies for key materials
• Assist the engineering team with routine manufacturing of diagnostic consumables
• Oversee routine lab management, inventory, consumable ordering, and equipment maintenance

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in biology or chemistry with 2+ years of industry laboratory experience OR Associate’s Degree with 4+ years of industry experience
• Experience working in biological laboratories with the ability to repeatably execute experiments using established protocols
• High level of organization, efficiency, and attention to detail
• Excellent communication, written, and presentation skills
