Laboratory Technician II

Responsibilities

• Perform high-volume analysis of semiconductor-grade chemicals for trace impurities or assay
• Tune, calibrate, and perform routine preventative maintenance on analytical laboratory instrumentation
• Communicate test results in a timely manner to support manufacturing and factory customers
• Participate in the documentation of quality control standards, safety protocols, and analytical results
• Troubleshoot instrument software, connection issues, and sample analysis problems as directed
• Implement 5S organizational principles and assist with laboratory supply maintenance
• Support data collection for lab instrument qualifications and management of change (MOC) processes

Requirements

• HS Diploma with 7 years of industrial laboratory experience, OR
• Associate Degree in Chemistry (or similar) with 5 years of experience, OR
• Bachelor Degree in Chemistry (or similar) with 3 years of experience
• Proficiency with analytical instrumentation software and LIMS
• Strong computer skills including Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word
• Ability to work in a team environment and provide holiday/weekend coverage
• Ability to perform repetitive sample analysis tasks and lift medium loads with assistance
